  2. Q

What is the maximum number of participants allowed per course?

    A

35, though there are exceptions. We are generally not equipped for groups larger than 35 but arrangements can be made to secure the AV equipment necessary for larger groups. Please contact us for a price quote.
  3. Q

Is RBS training the same as ABC-LEAD training?

    A

ABC-LEAD training classes are large group RBS courses provided by ABC in various locations throughout California. ABC-LEAD is not specialized for a specific industry or license type so time must be spent covering topics and answering questions not pertinent to all attendees. We have separate classes for each industry (wine tasting room, brewpub, restaurant, bar/nightclub, retail stores) because we understand the training needs of, for example, a grocery store selling alcohol are much different than those of a wine tasting room.
  4. Q

Is RBS the same as TIPS training?

    A

TIPS is a national company based in Arlington, Virginia. They provide RBS training all over the country in mostly online formats. The courses are usually not industry specific and are usually not custom tailored for an individual client needs like our courses. Additionally, there is no guarantee of in depth local knowledge or law enforcement experience/expertise.
  5. Q

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion?

    A

Yes. We issue certificates to each participant certifying that the participant has been trained by us in adherence to ABC's "Best Practices" standards and FDA "Tobacco Retailer Training" industry guidance standards. The certificate is valid for two years.
